A book scribed in Latin, “The Three Mothers” is obtained
Heed the importance its pages contain
You near the Mother of Darkness and her domain
The Mother of Shadows is deathly insane
A flooded ballroom, her cellar of doom
The keys are found under the soles of your shoes
They discover you roaming these dark, empty halls
Upon black magic, the minions call…
Silentium - breaking the alchemists’ secrecy
The three mothers have been identified
These buildings harbor the witch’s souls
Those who intrude will be violently crucified
You are under the spell of Tenebrarum, Mater Tenebrarum!
The building crumbles into flames as I recite all of our names
Three furies, three fates; Ragin sorceress of hate
But, one name strikes fear into you all
DEATH! is the name they call ...me DEATH!
You are under the spell of Tenebrarum, Mater Tenebrarum!
I’ll curse you, I’ll kill you I’ll bury you within my walls Death now calls!
The building crumbles into flames as I recite all of our names
Three furies, three fates; Ragin sorceress of hate
But, one name strikes fear into you all
DEATH! is the name they call ...me DEATH!
You are under the spell of Tenebrarum, Mater Tenebrarum!

I'm sad to see this era of Beastmaker close out but this is a phenomenal way to do! Black Butterfly might be the best thing they've ever done. dianonhead

Distilled death metal with catchy riffs and well written songs. It's not reinventing the wheel or anything but it's osdm, if that's what you want look elsewhere. grahamy

Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae
